Building Better Bedtime Routines
Brought to you by A Restful Night and The Bronxville Playroom
Service Description
Summer schedules are coming… is your bedtime routine ready? Longer days, later nights, vacations, camp schedules, and spontaneous summer fun can all make bedtime feel harder to hold onto. But with the right structure, your bedtime routine can stay calm, predictable, and realistic for your family — even during busy seasons. Join Meg O’Leary, certified sleep consultant, founder of A Restful Night, and Bronxville’s very own “sleep lady,” for a practical conversation on building bedtime routines that actually work. You’ll be welcomed with a Sleepy Girl Mocktail, snacks, and a chance to connect with other local parents before diving into the bedtime basics that make the biggest difference at home. Together, we’ll cover: ▫️ How to create a bedtime routine your child can recognize and trust ▫️ Why predictability helps reduce stalling and bedtime battles ▫️ Simple ways to streamline your routine and avoid unnecessary transitions ▫️ How to maintain consistency through summer schedules, travel, and later nights ▫️ Age-appropriate expectations for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids ▫️ Practical tools you can implement immediately Whether you’re parenting a baby, a toddler, or juggling multiple children with different schedules and needs, you’ll leave with clear, actionable next steps for smoother evenings at home. Perfect for parents who feel like bedtime has started to become the longest part of the day — or who simply want a routine that feels calmer, easier, and more sustainable heading into summer. Doors open at @ 7:00 p.m. for mocktails and mingling before Meg leads the discussion from 7:30–8:30 p.m.
